You don’t get all your learning from text books. There are many other ways to acquire additional skills and expertise. Meeting other students will give you surprising new ways to look at the world around you, both inside and outside the lecture rooms.
At the POPcorner’s social activities you will get to know students from varying social, ethnic and religious backgrounds. During these meetings students can learn from each other, discuss study problems and experiences, and hear other people’s opinions. This not only offers companionable conviviality (Dutch 'gezelligheid') and solidarity, but will also help to broaden your horizon and stimulate you to think about the relationship between your world and someone else’s.
You can sign up for a social activity by emailing the POPcorner.
