Floris Mansvelt Beck LLM
Before becoming a PhD candidate at the Institute of Political Science at Leiden University, Floris Mansvelt Beck (1974) studied Public International Law in Leiden, worked for the Netherlands national news agency ANP and for the Ministry of Agriculture as a government trainee. After a brief stint as a researcher in legal philosophy at the Law faculty in Leiden he spent two years lecturing in Public International Law at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam. His research interests include theories of liberalism in general and political liberalism in particular. His PhD research focuses on the Dutch debate on immigrant integration.
