The Institute of Political Science of Leiden University would like to invite you to the symposium 'Peter Mair: the Political Scientist'.

Peter was a Professor of Comparative Politics in the Institute between 1992 and 2005. His sudden passing in August 2011 shocked the entire academic community. To mark his contribution to both our Institute and to the Dutch political science, we have decided to organize this symposium, dedicated to Peter's scholarly work.
