12 February, 2015: 'International Justice Matters'

On Thursday 12 February, 2015, Judge Sanji Mmasenono Monageng, an experienced jurist, expert on human rights, and First Vice-President of the International Criminal Court (ICC), will speak on the law and politics of international criminal justice at Leiden University's Institute of Political Science. The lecture will be held from 15:00 to 17:00 in room S.C01 of the Pieter de la Court building.

Multimedia exhibition

After her lecture, Judge Monageng will take questions from the audience. This represents a unique opportunity for Leiden students and the wider academic community to interact with a leading figure in international affairs.

The lecture will mark the official opening of the 'Justice Matters' multimedia exhibition, which illustrates the raison d'être and the work of the ICC and is open to the public during 9-23 February 2015 in the atrium of Leiden University's Pieter de la Court building.

'International Organisation': a new specialisation in the Political Science masters programme

Following Judge Monageng's lecture there will be a reception, which will coincide with the official launch of the all-new specialisation in International Organisation within Leiden's Political Science masters programme.

This specialisation will enroll its first students in September 2015.
