Project 'Decision-Making in the European Union Before and After Lisbon' (DEUBAL) approved by the European Commission
On the basis of a combination of theoretical analysis, literature research and empirical studies (both qualitative and quantitative ones), the DEUBAL project will provide fresh insights into the theory and empirics of EU decision-making, notably highlighting changes due to the Lisbon Treaty.

Fresh insights
On the basis of a combination of theoretical analysis, literature research and empirical studies (both qualitative and quantitative ones), the DEUBAL project will provide fresh insights into the theory and empirics of EU decision-making, notably highlighting changes due to the Lisbon Treaty. The research groups draws on its members’ earlier work conducted on EU decision-making, including existing data bases, and integrates them into the study of the post-Lisbon phase.
The researchers integrated into the DEUBAL project have strong expertise in research on the EU, including its institutional features and are embedded into dynamic European and international networks of research on the EU.
