Graduate film Marleen Oostenrijk on local television

The film ‘Over leven in Aarlanderveen’ that Marleen Oostenrijk made for her MA project, will be screened 22-28 February at the local television station Studio Alphen. It portrays the liveability of the village Aarlanderveen and what it means to its residents.

25 June, 2015: Film screening Visual Ethnography students

Is voluntourism a problem in Nepal? Why is pentecostalism one of the most successful global religious phenomenons? How different are the perspectives of inhabitants, volcanologists, NGO’s and 'myth-takers' on volcano landscapes and relocation? And what has fencing to do with change in cultural, social and daily life? Thursday our MA students will present their films in room 0A28.
